Hadith 3763
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ : " يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ رَايَتْكَ تَصْنَعُ أَرْبَعًا لَمْ أَرَ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِكَ يَصْنَعُهَا ، قَالَ : مَا هِيَ يَا ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ ؟ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُكَ لا تَمَسُّ مِنَ الأَرْكَانِ إِلا الْيَمَانِيَّيْنِ ، وَرَأَيْتُكَ تَلْبَسُ النِّعَالَ السِّبْتِيَّةَ ، وَرَأَيْتُكَ تَصْبِغُ بِالصُّفْرَةِ ، وَرَأَيْتُكَ إِذَا كُنْتَ بِمَكَّةَ أَهَلَّ النَّاسُ إِذَا رَأَوَا الْهِلالَ ، وَلَمْ تُهِلَّ أَنْتَ حَتَّى يَكُونَ يَوْمُ التَّرْوِيَةِ ? فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ : " أَمَّا الأَرْكَانُ ، فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُ إِلا الْيَمَانِيَّيْنِ ، وَأَمَّا النِّعَالُ السِّبْتِيَّةُ ، فَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَلْبَسُ النِّعَالَ السِّبْتِيَّةَ الَّتِي لَيْسَ فِيهَا شَعَرٌ ، وَيَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهَا ، فَأَنَا أَحَبُّ أَنْ أَلْبَسَهَا ، وَأَمَّا الصُّفْرَةُ ، فَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْبُغُ بِهَا ، وَأَمَّا الإِهْلالُ ، فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُهِلُّ حَتَّى تَنْبَعِثَ بِهِ رَاحِلَتُهُ " .
Saeed bin Abu Saeed Maqbari narrates: Ubaid bin Juraij asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): O Abu Abdur Rahman! I have seen you doing four things which I have not seen any of your companions doing. He asked: O Ibn Juraij! What are those things? Ibn Juraij said: I have seen you touching the two Yemeni corners, and I have seen you wearing Sabti sandals. I have seen you dyeing with yellow color, and I have seen that when you are residing in Makkah, people begin reciting the Talbiyah as soon as they see the new moon, but you begin reciting the Talbiyah on the day of Tarwiyah. So Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: As for the corners, I have seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) only touching the two Yemeni corners. As for wearing Sabti sandals, I have seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) wearing Sabti sandals which had no hair on them, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) would perform ablution while wearing them, so I also like to wear them. As for the yellow color, I have seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) using this color. As for reciting the Talbiyah, I have seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) reciting the Talbiyah only when his mount was ready to move.
