Hadith 3719
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، وَالْحَجَبِيُّ ، وَأَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ ، وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ ، فَلَمَّا وَضَعَهُ ، قِيلَ : هَذَا ابْنُ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " اقْتُلُوهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah, there was a helmet on his head. He removed it, and it was submitted to him that Ibn Khatal is hiding in the curtains of the Ka'bah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Kill him.
