Hadith 3703
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ ، عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " قَالَ اللَّهُ : إِنَّ عَبْدًا صَحَّحْتُ لَهُ جِسْمَهُ ، وَوَسَّعْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْمَعِيشَةِ يَمْضِي عَلَيْهِ خَمْسَةُ أَعْوَامٍ لا يَفِدُ إِلَيَّ لَمَحْرُومٌ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "Allah Almighty says: When I keep a servant's body healthy and grant him abundance, and then five years pass over him and he does not come to Me, then he is deprived."
