I’tikaf and Laylat al-Qadr - The reason for the person in i’tikaf to enter his house during i’tikaf
Hadith 3672
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، وَعَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اعْتَكَفَ أَدْنَى إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ ، فَكَانَ لا يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلا لِحَاجَةِ الإِنْسَانِ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was observing i'tikaf, he would extend his head towards me and I would comb his hair. He would only enter the house for the purpose of relieving himself.
