باب الاعتكاف وليلة القدر - ذكر البيان بأن المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يخرج رأسه إلى حجرة عائشة في اعتكافه لترجله وتغسله دون أن يخرج من المسجد لهما
I’tikaf and Laylat al-Qadr - The Prophet (peace be upon him) would extend his head to Aisha for combing and washing without leaving the mosque
Hadith 3670
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الُوَاحِدِ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنِ الزُهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِينِي وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى يَتَّكِئَ عَلَى عَتَبَةِ بَابِي ، وَأَنَا فِي حُجْرَتِي ، وَسَائِرُهُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to come to me. He would be observing i'tikaf in the mosque at that time, to the extent that he would lean against the door frame of my room while I would be in my chamber and the Prophet (peace be upon him) would be in the mosque.
