I’tikaf and Laylat al-Qadr - Permission for the person in i’tikaf to comb their hair and seek help with it
Hadith 3669
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، وَعَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُدْخِلُ إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ مُعْتَكِفٌ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ ، وَكَانَ لا يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلا لِحَاجَتِهِ " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would sometimes extend his head towards me while he was observing i'tikaf in the mosque, and I would comb his hair. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would come home (only) to fulfill the need of relieving himself.
