The noble wife of the Prophet, Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates: People were in doubt regarding the matter of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the day of Arafah, so Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) sent a bowl (of milk) to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was standing at the place of stay. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank it while the people were watching him. (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:): On the occasion of the Farewell Hajj, the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were with him. Similarly, a group of his relatives was also with him, so it is possible that Sayyida Umm Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her) and Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) were present at the same place in Arafat, and that bowl of milk was taken to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from both of these women. Thus, in one narration, the bowl and its sending have been attributed to Sayyida Umm Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her), and in another narration, to Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her).
