Chapter on Kissing While Fasting - Permissibility of a man kissing his wife while fasting
Hadith 3537
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ : " إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُقَبِّلُ بَعْضَ نِسَائِهِ وَهُوَ صَائِم ، ثُمَّ ضَحِكَتْ " .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes kiss one of his noble wives while he was fasting. Then Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) smiled.
