Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Sayyiduna Abu Taybah to present himself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of sunset. Then he directed him to bring the cupping instruments at the time of iftar and perform cupping on the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: "How much is your tax?" He replied: "Two sa’." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had one sa’ remitted for him. (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:): The narrator named Sa’id bin Yahya is known by the name Sa’dan. He belongs to the people of Damascus. He is trustworthy and reliable, and in hadith, he is upright in his affairs.
