Chapter on Breaking the Fast and Hastening It
Hadith 3502
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الطَّائِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا يَزَالُ النَّاسُ بِخَيْرٍ مَا عَجَّلُوا الْفِطْرَ " .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The people will remain upon goodness as long as they hasten in breaking the fast.”
