Hadith 3479
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fasting is not only abstaining from eating and drinking, but fasting also means refraining from vain talk and foul language. If someone abuses you or behaves ignorantly towards you, then say, 'I am fasting.'" (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:): (The uncle of the narrator named Khalid bin Abdur Rahman) is Abdullah bin Mughira bin Abu Dhibab Dosi, and the narrator's name is Harith bin Abdur Rahman bin Mughira bin Abu Dhibab.
