Chapter on Suhoor - Allah’s forgiveness and the angels’ prayers for those who eat suhoor
Hadith 3467
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الصَّغِيرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُنْقِذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ يَحِيَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الطَّوِيلِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الْمُتَسَحِّرِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those who partake in suhoor (pre-dawn meal)."
