Chapter on the Virtue of Ramadan - Stating that the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and Ramadan are equal in virtue
Hadith 3431
أَخْبَرَنَا شَبَابُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " شَهْرَا عِيدٍ لا يَنْقُصَانِ : رَمَضَانُ وَذُو الْحِجَّةِ " .
Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakrah narrates from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The two months of Eid are not reduced: Ramadan and Dhul-Hijjah."
