Section: Good Deeds That Substitute for Charity – Details of Good Deeds That Count as Charity
Hadith 3380
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلامٍ ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلامٍ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي سَلامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ فَرُّوخٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " خَلَقَ اللَّهُ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ عَلَى سِتِّينَ وَثَلاثِ مِائَةِ مَفْصِلٍ ، فَمَنْ كَبَّرَ اللَّهَ ، وَحَمِدَهُ ، وَهَلَّلَ اللَّهَ ، وَسَبِّحَ اللَّهَ ، وَاسْتَغْفَرَ اللَّهَ ، وَعَزَلَ عَظْمًا عَنْ طَرِيقِ النَّاسِ ، وَعَزَلَ حَجَرًا عَنْ طَرِيقِهِمْ ، وَأَمَرَ بِمَعْرُوفٍ ، وَنَهَى عَنْ مُنْكَرٍ عَدَدَ تِلْكَ السِّتِّينَ وَالثَّلاثِ مِائَةٍ ، فَإِنَّهُ يُمْسِي يَوْمَئِذٍ وَقَدْ زَحْزَحَ نَفْسَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has created three hundred and sixty joints in every human being, so whoever, in the number of three hundred and sixty, does (the following deeds): recites «اللہ اکبر», recites «الحمداللہ», recites «لا اله الا الله», recites «سبحان اللہ», recites «استغفراللہ», removes a bone from the people's path, removes a stone from their path, enjoins good and forbids evil (and does all these deeds three hundred and sixty times), then by the evening he will be in such a state that he has saved himself from Hell.
