Hadith 3310
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ يَزِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، أَنَّ أَبَا الْخَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " كُلُّ امْرِئٍ فِي ظِلِّ صَدَقَتِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ " ، أَوْ قَالَ : " حَتَّى يُحْكَمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ " ، قَالَ يَزِيدُ : فَكَانَ أَبُو الْخَيْرِ لا يُخْطِئُهُ يَوْمٌ لا يَتَصَدَّقُ فِيهِ بِشَيْءٍ وَلَوْ كَعْكَةً ، وَلَوْ بَصَلَةً .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "(On the Day of Resurrection) every person will be under the shade of his charity, until judgment is passed among the people." (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words), "until judgment is given among the people." The narrator named Yazid has reported this. The narrator named Abu'l-Khair used to give something in charity every day, even if it was just a piece of bread or an onion.
