Hadith 3283
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفِيَانُ ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفِيَانَ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الُوَزْنُ وَزْنُ مَكَّةَ ، وَالْمِكِيَالُ مِكِيَالُ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "While weighing, the standard of the people of Makkah will be considered, and while measuring, the measure of the people of Madinah will be considered."
