Hadith 3281
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ الضَّرِيرُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، وَسَعِيدٌ ، جميعا ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحِيَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ فِي الْفِضَّةِ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ خَمْسَ أَوَاقٍ ، وَلَيْسَ فِي التَّمْرِ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ خَمْسَةَ أَوْسُقٍ ، وَلَيْسَ فِي الإِبِلِ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ خَمْسَةً مِنَ الذَّوْدِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Zakat is not obligatory on silver until it reaches five awqiyah. Zakat is not obligatory on dates until they reach five wasq. Zakat is not obligatory on camels until they reach five camels."
