Hadith 3265
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was distributing gold. During this, a man came to him and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Give me as well. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him. Then he said: Give me more, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him more. This happened three times. Then he turned away and left. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person comes to me and asks from me, I give him. He asks me again, so I give him. This happens three times, then that person turns and leaves, even though he has put fire in his clothes, at the time when he is returning to his home.
