Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever owns camels and does not do good regarding them (i.e., does not pay their zakat), then on the Day of Resurrection, they will come healthier than before. That person will be made to sit in an open field before them, and they will trample him with their legs and feet. Whoever owns cows (and does not pay their zakat), then those cows will come on the Day of Resurrection healthier than before. That person will be made to sit in an open field before them, and they will gore him with their horns and trample him with their feet. There will not be any cow among them without horns or with broken horns. Whoever owns a treasure (and does not pay its zakat), then that treasure will come on the Day of Resurrection in the form of a bald-headed snake and will open its mouth and chase after him. When it comes near him, he will try to run away from it, but his Lord will call out to him: 'This is your treasure, which you kept stored up.' When that person sees that he cannot escape from it, he will stretch out his hand towards its mouth, and the snake will chew his hand just as a camel chews something."
