Hadith 3209
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، وَكَانَتْ إِذَا أَنْفَقَتْ شَيْئًا تُحْصِي ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنْفِقِي وَلا تُحْصِي ، فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ ، وَلا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ " .
Sayyida Asma bint Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Whenever she spent something, she used to count it. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Spend without counting, otherwise Allah the Exalted will also give to you by counting, and do not tie the mouth of (your money pouch), otherwise Allah the Exalted will also tie the mouth (of your money pouch) when giving to you.
