Hadith 3149
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ ضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ ، وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ ، وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is not from among us who strikes the cheeks, tears the collar, and calls with the cries of the Age of Ignorance."
