Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "When the servant is placed on the bier, he says: 'Take me forward, take me forward.' And when the servant is placed on the bier, he says: 'Alas! Woe to me, where are you taking me?' (The narrator says) The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, meant the Muslim and the disbeliever (servant)." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says: This narration has been transmitted by Sa'id Maqburi from his father from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id, may Allah be pleased with him, and by Abdur Rahman bin Mehran from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, so both its chains are preserved. The text of the narration transmitted from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, is more complete than the narration transmitted from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him. We have already mentioned it at the beginning of this chapter.)
