Hadith 3099
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلانَ بِأَذَنَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الزِّمَّانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَخًا لَكُمْ قَدْ مَاتَ ، فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ " ، قَالَ : فَصَفَفْنَا عَلَيْهِ صَفَّيْنِ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Your brother has passed away, so you people stand up and offer his funeral prayer." The narrator states: So we formed two rows for him.
