Hadith 3081
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّقَفِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَمُوتُ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ يَبْلُغُونَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِائَةً فَيَشْفَعُونَ إِلا شُفِّعُوا فِيهِ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this statement of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When a person passes away and a group of one hundred people offer his funeral prayer, and they intercede for him (i.e., pray for his forgiveness), then their intercession is accepted."
