Hadith 3067
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مَاتَتْ فِي نِفَاسِهَا ، فَقَامَ عَلَيْهَا فِي الصَّلاةِ وَسَطَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I offered the funeral prayer behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for a woman who had died during childbirth, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood opposite the middle of her body during the funeral prayer.
