Hadith 3004
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الشَّرْقِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَارِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ هِلالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ ، عَنِ الأَغَرِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَقِّنُوا مَوْتَاكُمْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلِمَتِهِ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ يَوْمًا مِنَ الدَّهْرِ ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مَا أَصَابَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Instruct those who are near death to say La ilaha illallah, for whoever's last words at the time of death are La ilaha illallah will eventually enter Paradise, even if he faces any kind of punishment before that."
