Hadith 2986
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ تَبُوكَ سُئِلَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " لا يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ وَعَلَى ظَهْرِ الأَرْضِ نَفْسٌ مَنْفُوسَةٌ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from Tabuk, he was asked about the Hour (Day of Judgment). He (peace be upon him) said: There will not remain anyone alive on the face of the earth one hundred years from today.
