Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Hatib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his mother Sayyidah Umm Jameel bint Mujallal (may Allah be pleased with her): I came with you from the land of Abyssinia. Only one or two nights had passed since we arrived in Madinah Munawwarah when I prepared food for you. The firewood ran out, so I went out in search of wood. You grabbed the pot and poured it over your wrist. I took you to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! This is Muhammad bin Hatib, and he is the first child whose name has been kept after your blessed name. Sayyidah Umm Jameel (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put his blessed saliva in your mouth, passed his blessed hand over your head, and prayed for you, and said: "Remove the pain, O Lord of the people! Grant healing, You are the only healer. There is no healing except Your healing, grant such a healing that leaves no illness behind." Sayyidah Umm Jameel (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I had not yet risen with you from the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when your hand was healed.
