Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the prayer of fear at the place of Dhat al-Riqa. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) divided the people into two groups. One group stood behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the other group stood facing the enemy. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the takbeer, the group that had formed rows behind him also said the takbeer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went into ruku, so those people also went into ruku. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went into sajdah, so those people also went into sajdah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head, so those people also got up. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained seated in his place, and those people themselves performed the second sajdah, and then they stood up and, walking on their heels, moved back until they stood at the rear, and the second group came forward. They formed rows behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Those people said the takbeer, then they themselves performed one rak’ah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the second sajdah, so they performed sajdah along with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up from that rak’ah, and those people themselves performed the second sajdah. Then both groups stood up and formed rows behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went into ruku, so they all went into ruku. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went into sajdah, so they all went into sajdah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head, so those people also raised their heads. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed each of these actions very quickly. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not show any negligence in this regard, and performed ruku and sajdah as briefly as possible. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said salam, so those people also said salam. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up, and all the people had participated in the prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
