Hadith 2822
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، مَوْلَى النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَقْرَأُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى ، وَ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ ، فَإِذَا اجْتَمَعَ الْعِيدُ وَالْجُمُعَةُ فِي يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ ، قَرَأَ بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا فِي الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْعِيدِ " .
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Al-A’la and Surah Al-Ghashiyah in the Friday prayer on the day of Jumu’ah, and when Eid and Jumu’ah occurred on the same day, he would recite these two surahs in both the Eid and Jumu’ah prayers.
