Hadith 2819
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِيدَ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ ، وَلا مَرَّتَيْنِ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلا إِقَامَةٍ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I have performed the Eid prayer behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) one or two times, and it was offered without any adhan or iqamah.
