Eid Prayers - Clarification that the best days are the Day of Sacrifice and the following day
Hadith 2811
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَاشِدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ لُحَيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَفْضَلُ الأَيَّامِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ ، وَيَوْمُ الْقَرِّ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Qurt (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most virtuous day in the sight of Allah Almighty is the Day of Sacrifice, and the next day after it."
