Chapter on Friday Prayer - Permissibility for the preacher to speak to whomever he wishes during the sermon if needed
Hadith 2800
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " جَاءَ أَبِي وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَخْطُبُ ، فَقَامَ فِي الشَّمْسِ ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَتَحَوَّلَ إِلَى الظِّلِّ " .
Qais bin Abu Hazim narrates from his father: My father came (to the mosque) while the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was delivering a sermon. (My father) stood in the sun. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered him to come into the shade.
