Chapter on Friday Prayer - Instruction for the drowsy person in the mosque on Friday to move to another spot
Hadith 2792
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا نَعَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَلْيَتَحَوَّلْ مِنْهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person becomes drowsy while sitting in his place on the day of Jumu'ah, he should move to another place."
