Chapter on Friday Prayer - Mention that Allah seals the heart of one who neglects Friday prayer out of carelessness after the third time
Hadith 2786
أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْقَطَّانُ إِمْلاءً ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الضَّمْرِيِّ ، وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتٍ تَهَاوُنًا بِهَا ، طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Ju’d Damri, may Allah be pleased with him, is a companion of the Messenger. He narrates: The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever, out of disregard, abandons Friday (prayer) three times, Allah Almighty will set a seal upon his heart.”
