Hadith 2770
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لا تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ وَلا تَغْرُبُ عَلَى يَوْمٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ إِلا وَهِيَ تَفْزَعُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، إِلا هَذَيْنِ الثَّقَلَيْنِ : الْجِنِّ ، وَالإِنْسِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The sun does not rise or set on any day better than the day of Friday. Every animal remains fearful on the day of Friday except for these two groups: jinn and humans (they are not fearful)."
