Hadith 2744
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا ، وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسٌ : وَسَمِعَهُمْ يَصْرُخُونَ بِهِمَا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed four rak‘ahs of the Zuhr prayer in Madinah Munawwarah, and he performed two rak‘ahs of the Asr prayer at Dhul-Hulaifah. The narrator states: Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) informed us that he had heard people reciting the Talbiyah for Hajj and ‘Umrah aloud.
