Hadith 2734
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ، بِبُسْتَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَتْهُ ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ لِعَائِشَةَ : إِنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ ، يُخْبِرُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لا يَحِلُّ لامْرَأَةٍ تُسَافِرُ فَوْقَ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ إِلا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ " ، قَالَتْ عَمْرَةُ : فَالْتَفَتَتْ إِلَيْنَا عَائِشَةُ ، فَقَالَتْ : " مَا كُلُّهُنَّ لَهَا ذُو مَحْرَمٍ " .
Umrah bint Abdur Rahman narrates: She was present with Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She said to Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) has narrated this from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: "It is not permissible for any woman to travel for more than three days except with a mahram (close male relative)." The woman named Umrah narrates: Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) turned towards us and asked: Do none of them have a mahram with them?
