Section on Women’s Travel - Another narration indicating that mentioning the number is not to permit less than that
Hadith 2724
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لا تُسَافِرِ الْمَرْأَةُ يَوْمَيْنِ مِنَ الدَّهْرِ إِلا وَمَعَهَا زَوْجُهَا ، أَوْ ذُو مَحْرَمٍ مِنْهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No woman should travel for two days except that her husband or a mahram is with her."
