Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas narrates from Sayyidah Khawlah bint Hakim (may Allah be pleased with her), who reports that she heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “When a person stops at any place and recites these words: ‘I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created,’ then nothing will harm him until he departs from that place.” Imam Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The narrator named Ya’qub bin Abdullah is the brother of Bukair bin Abdullah bin Ashajj. And the narrator named Harith is Harith bin Ya’qub bin Abdullah bin Ashajj. The narrator named Harith bin Ya’qub is the father of Amr bin Harith al-Misri.
