Hadith 2659
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا شَكَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاتِهِ ، فَلْيَتَحَرَّ الصَّوَابَ ، ثُمَّ لْيُسَلِّمْ ، ثُمَّ لْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When a person has doubt regarding his prayer, he should try to estimate the correct situation, then say the salam, and then perform two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajda sahw)."
