Hadith 2539
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى قَوْمًا يُصَلُّونَ الضُّحَى فِي مَسْجِدِ قُبَاءَ ، فَقَالَ : لَقَدْ عَلِمُوا أَنَّ الصَّلاةَ فِي غَيْرِ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلاةُ الأَوَّابِينَ حِينَ تَرْمَضُ الْفِصَالُ " .
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam. He saw some people performing prayer at the time of Duha in the Mosque of Quba, so he said: These people know that performing prayer at a time other than this is more virtuous. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The prayer of the righteous is at the time when the sand becomes hot for the (camel) calves."
