Muhammad bin Amr narrates: I saw Abu Murrah, he was an elderly man who had the honor of meeting Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her). He narrates from Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: On the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I have given protection to my two brothers-in-law, and my brother, that is, Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), wants to kill them. Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Umm Hani, whoever you have given protection to, we also give protection to him. Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) poured water and performed ghusl (ritual bath), then wrapped a cloth as a sheet and placed its ends on the opposite sides (of his shoulders), then he offered eight rak‘ahs at the time of Duha (forenoon).
