Hadith 2483
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ ، بِتُسْتُرَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْبُسْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ الأَزْدِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلاةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "The (voluntary) prayers of the night and day are to be performed two by two."
