Hadith 2482
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، سَمِعَ عَلِيًّا الْبَارِقِيَّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلاةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : وَالْبَارِقُ : جَبَلُ أَزْدٍ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The (voluntary) prayers of the night and day are to be performed two by two." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) Al-Bariq is a mountain of "Azd."
