Hadith 2467
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the muezzin would become silent after giving the first call to prayer (adhan) for the Fajr prayer, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would get up and perform two short rak‘ahs before the Fajr prayer. He would perform these after the true dawn had appeared. Then he would lie down on his right side until the muezzin would come to inform him that the prayer was about to be established.
