Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Permissibility for Someone to Pass in Front if No Barrier is Used
Hadith 2363
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ فَرَغَ مِنْ طَوَافِهِ أَتَى حَاشِيَةَ الْمَطَافِ ، فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، وَلَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الطَّوَّافِينَ أَحَدٌ " .
Sayyiduna Mutlib bin Abu Wada'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), when he finished performing Tawaf, he came to one side of the Mataf and offered two units of prayer there. At that time, there was nothing between him and those performing Tawaf."
