Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Second Specification Limiting the General Statement Previously Mentioned
Hadith 2316
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الأَرْضُ كُلُّهَا مَسْجِدٌ إِلا الْحَمَّامَ وَالْمَقْبَرَةَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The entire surface of the earth is a place for performing prayer except for the bathhouse and the graveyard."
