Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was present, and the mother of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) and his maternal aunt were also present. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in prayer, so Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) stood to the right of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the mother and maternal aunt of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) stood behind both of them. (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says: Some of our Imams have considered the narration transmitted by Ishaq bin Abu Talhah from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) to be a brief narration, and the narration of Musa bin Anas clarifies it. They hold the view that on this occasion, along with Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her), the maternal aunt of Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) was also present. But according to us, this is not the case, because these are two different prayers performed on different occasions; this is not the incident of a single prayer.)
