Hadith 2099
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا إِذَا فَقَدْنَا الإِنْسَانَ فِي صَلاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَالْعِشَاءِ أَسَأْنَا بِهِ الظَّنَّ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Whenever we did not find someone present in the Fajr or Isha prayer, we would think ill of him.
